Reservoir of Guadalest

The reservoir of Guadalest is a reservoir near the town of El Castell de Guadalest in the Spanish province of Alicante. Guadalest

Guadalest is a tiny village with about 200 inhabitants. It is located on the top of a mountain. From Guadalest you have a beautiful view over the reservoir and the green valley with the many other mountains in the background.

The only way to enter Guadalest is via a 15 meter long tunnel that runs through a rock. Visit the castle of San José, the Fort of Alcozaiba, Casa Orduña (museum), the Parochial Church in Baroque style and the Prison of the XII century located under the town hall.
